Photography and Videography: Atwater Cosmos Grove City Schools

The challenge

Atwater Cosmos Grove City (ACGC) Schools in rural Minnesota were in great need of new, up-to-date photos for their communications. The majority of the photos on their website were half a decade old and many were low resolution. The school district’s board of education also felt that ACGC’s website needed a facelift. This included replacing the outdated photos with fresh, evergreen, high resolution photos they were proud to display.

Our approach

CESO Communications headed to Atwater to capture the big and small moments throughout the school day, from the young learners stepping off the school bus to high schoolers immersed in career and technical education (CTE) and friends enjoying lunch together. Teachers and students were eager to participate and showcase who they were in front of the lens. Capturing both posed and candid moments like these and evoking real emotions and excitement in school buildings is the secret CESO recipe to letting schools shine.

Our impact

ACGC now has a comprehensive photo library of high-quality, evergreen snapshots of its real community for multipurpose applications. With ongoing support from CESO Communications, the district has updated its website with these fresh photos and used them in social media posts, elevating its digital presence. The photos have been used in print publications and referendum communications, and every time an ACGC family engages with an online or printed piece, they see their community reflected back at them.
